50 Years creating the perfect pool and wellness experience.
Half a century which is just the beginning of a journey of excellence based on innovation and growth. Founded in 1969, Fluidra celebrates its 50th anniversary in June 2019 with long-standing experience in developing innovative products and services in the global residential and commercial pool as well as wellness market. Thanks to you, these have been the first 50 years of a journey of excellence.
Located at the Ragunan PPOP Athlete School which was inaugurated in 1977 by the Governor of DKI Jakarta that time, Mr. Ali Sadikin. Made especially for young people who excel in the field of sports.
This area has gone through several stages of total renovation, where the Aquatic pool itself has the fastest construction time of only 5 months.
All facilities contained in the building are currently open to the public but are prioritized for student athletes. One of the existing facilities, is the Aquatic Pool which has 3 pools, consisting of:
• | Competition Pool | 50 m × 25 m × 2.5 m |
• | Diving Pool | 25 m × 21 m × 5 m |
• | Warm up Pool | 25 m × 21 m × 1.35 m |
The swimming pool structure that was built known as ”Skypool” is a technological solution patented by Fluidra, which basically consists of prefabricated stainless steel panels mounted on concrete blocks or the ground floor to then be covered with a PVC Liner which functions as a finishing and water proofing. This technology guarantees the level of precision of the pool dimensions, practical in installation and resistance to leakage and structural failure caused by earthquakes at a certain scale that has been calculated.
The most interesting thing about this project is the very short completion time of work. Starting from the planning and construction stage of the swimming pool, to the process of obtaining certification from the Federation Internationale de Nation (FINA) as the parent of the international swimming sports federation, it can be completed in less than 5 (five) months. This success cannot be separated from Fluidra's active role as a global leader in the swimming pool industry from the start under the coordination of the main contractor PT. Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk.

Sports clubs that have pools are able to put on a wide range of activities that bring about customer loyalty. Pools even become one of the main attractions of sports clubs.
Fluidra Engineering adapts to the requirements of each project by building sports pools in which activities from swimming lessons to leisure swimming can be run, through to more technical ones such as Pilates, tabata training and water aerobics, amongst others.
Our experience on big projects endorses our work. Fluidra Engineering’s portfolio includes the development of pool projects for major swimming clubs such as Club Natación Sabadell and Club Natación Barceloneta. There are as many types of leisure pools as there are ways of having fun in water. That is why it is crucial to know about the target audience and the activities that are to take place in the water during the conceptual design phase of a project.
Leisure pools lie at the heart of big hotel projects and Fluidra Engineering has the best solutions for creating exciting leisure features that generate value, both for guests and hotel establishments.
Among the leisure pool projects developed by Fluidra Engineering it is worth highlighting the pools in Okada Manila (Manila, Philippines), Los Veneros Luxury Resort (Puerto Vallarta, Mexico), Melià Hotel Sol Nieve (Granada, Spain), Conrad Koh Samui (Koh Samui, Thailand), Avalon Resort & Spa (Miskolc, Hungary), Anantara Palm Resort (Dubai, UAE), Park Hyatt Hotel (Chennai, India), Shangri-la Boracay Resort (Boracay, Philippines).

Ornamental fountains contribute to customizing and enriching landscapes. In line with Fluidra’s philosophy, fountains and respect for the environment go hand in hand. All projects incorporate sustainable development in their design: the fountains are energy-saving and recycle all the water used in them.
Fluidra Engineering has been designing fountains since 1997 and has worked on projects designed by internationally renowned architects: La Pedrera Park (San Luis, Argentina), the fountains in Plaça Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain), Astana Expo Fountain (Astana, Kazakhstan), Slavyansky Shopping Mall (Moscow, Russia), the fountains in The Style Outlets (Barcelona, Spain), the water sculpture for the Great Exhibition of the North 2018 (Newcastle, United Kingdom), and the water curtain in the Yeni Hayat Business Center (Baku, Azerbaijan).
